When someone resets, they can get straight to the 20 second cooldown and skip the extra 10 seconds in a fair interaction. When a cop arrests someone, there is a 10 second cooldown before they get back to jail in addition to the 20 second jail cooldown. While it makes sense to switch teams, as there is no consequence other than having to escape jail again, people that reset also have an advantage. I have noticed that most players that commit combat log use the switch team or reset feature to escape combat and avoid a fair interaction with cops. I am not sure what it is that has caused this, but I think that I have found a fix to it.
